The
Church of Agios Andronicos is also located at the centre
of the village. It was built in the 13th century and was the community's
main church for quite a few years.
Reconditioning, reparation, and preservation of the temple was
done by the Church Committee of Apostle Luke in collaboration with
the Antiquities Department.
The veneer was taken off and the stone, with which the church is
made, was maintained. Rare frescoes were discovered inside the temple
and they were maintained. These frescoes are excellent samples of
hagiography.
The whole cost of the maintenance run up to the amount of 40,000
Cyprus Pounds.
The small church is dedicated to the Saints Andronicos and Athanasios
and it celebrates on the 9th of October.
